Flowmatic® products come with a limited warranty covering materials and workmanship. Some products are covered by original manufacturer’s warranty. The following is provided to help customers determine the extent and limits of our warranty coverage.

Filter Housings

Flowmatic® brand filter housings come with a one year limited warranty for materials and workmanship as long as they are used within the specifications provided. Warranty does not include return freight to factory for inspection, non-physical defects and incidental or consequential damages of any kind.

Filter Cartridges and Components

Filter cartridges are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship as received, prior to use. Once filter cartridges are used, our limited warranty is no longer in effect.

Assembled under counter, counter top and RO systems

Flowmatic® assembled drinking water units and RO system components come with a limited warranty for one year from installation, excluding membrane, pre filters and post filters.

ROPRO® Storage Tanks

ROPRO storage tanks are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects and workmanship for five full years from the date of manufacture. Warranty is limited to cost of repair or replacement (at manufacturer’s option) of any defective part or component. Warranty does not include return freight to factory for inspection, non-physical defects, loss of air beyond one year from date of manufacture and incidental or consequential damages of any kind. In order for limited warranty to be valid, tanks must be installed and maintained according to manufacturer’s instructions and procedures. Warranty is void in the event date code label is removed from tank. Note: It is reasonable to assume air loss may occur (as with automobile tires) and it may be necessary to add air to tanks at some time. Should air loss be a problem, customers may elect to add air (to 7 psi).

Flow-Max filter housings

Flow-Max filter housings come with a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for one year from date of installation. Warranty is limited to cost of repair or replacement (at suppliers option) of any defective part or component. Warranty does not include freight to warehouse for inspection, non-physical defect, labor costs to remove filters or consequential damages of any kind. This warranty excludes the following:

1. Use of filters in sea water applications

2. Damage due to improper installation, operation or care.

3. Chemical attack.

4. Damage caused by galvanic corrosion or electrolysis.

5. Use of pipe fittings other than plastic or stainless steel. (No copper fittings.)

6. Failure to ground housing using approved grounding procedures.

7. Gaskets and seals (except for defects as received, prior to use.)

8. Costs associated with removal and shipping costs for inspection or repair.

9. Any filter with Flow-Max identification removed.

Commercial RO systems, custom filtration systems, commercial softeners, separators, backwashing filters, Big-Bubba filters, pumps, UV systems and flow meters

System components are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects and workmanship for one year from date of purchase. Warranty is limited to cost of repair or replacement (at manufacturer’s option) of any defective part or component. Warranty does not include return freight for inspection, non-physical defects and incidental or consequential damages of any kind. In order for limited warranty to be valid, systems must be installed and maintained according to manufacturer’s instructions and procedures.

Freight

Return freight for products that require factory inspection for warranty coverage is not included in our limited warranty, and this cost is the customer’s responsibility. Should we determine products sent for inspection are defective, Flowmatic Systems will pay return freight for returned products, which are repaired or replaced.
